Aug 04, 2005 In this article we will discuss sprites and how to use them. A Sprite is a graphical object represented by one image. Generally a Sprite is used for small, active game objects, such as the flies and bees in our game to come. While building the game we will have a look at the Sprite Class and the methods available in this class. Of course, if useful we will have a look at MIDP 2.0 for comparison as well. In this, our second article, we describe a 3D shooting game for DoJa 1.5 or higher. Nov 08, 2005 In this column, we introduce i-Appli game programming techniques by creating a new game in each article. In this, our third article, we will create a fighting game. The game runs on DoJa 1.5 or higher. Dec 13, 2005 In this column, we introduce i-Appli game programming techniques by creating a new game in each article. In this, our fourth article, we will create a networked multi-player game. The game runs on DoJa 1.5 or higher. Jan 26, 2006 ((NEW)) In this column, we introduce i-mode game programming techniques by creating a new game each time. In this, our final article, we create a polygon-rendered 3D game. This game requires a DoJa 2.5 handset supporting the Mascot Capsule library.
